the bed rest

This marks my first experience on pregnancy. Just to be sure that baby will be safe, my OB insisted that I take complete bed rest. This means that I cannot attend G's company outing and enjoy the beach... but for our dear baby, I can do anything.

The first days were still okay since I have the television and the Internet to accompany me but on the later part of the week, I already feel bored. My routine is starting to bore me. I don't want to just sleep, eat, watch TV or browse the net.  I miss going out and sitting for a longer time. This week also marks my first time to miss the Sunday mass. I just had to content myself with watching the mass offered on Studio 23.

The next week was even more boring. Good thing, friends would text me or call me. Ninang Andring also dropped by to check on me and baby. She even brought some oranges for us (but it was G who ate it because I don't like the smell of the orange).

On the other side, I love being pampered. They give what I like, especially the food. I can request for anything that I see on tv (sometimes G would jokingly tell me not to watch tv anymore because I ask for anything that I see). Because of bed rest, my mom also asked my cousin to come over and help me out. She even sent a lot of viands that she personally cooked, so that I can eat healthy (healthy ba yun? Papaitan, dinakdakan at pork chop pinadala nya?)

Basta, all I can think of is that I hope the 2nd week would end already. I wanted to go out and feel the sun again. I wanted to see the mall as well. This has been the first time that I cannot go out at all (second pala, because the first time was when I had bulutong).
