baby at 22 weeks
We have reached another week
As much as I wanted to see baby Gwenks asap, I still wanted him to grow and develop well. As of yesterday, he is already 22 weeks (which means he can be out in more or less than 18 weeks na lang). Baby Gwenks has been more responsive whenever we talk to him. There are times when he would also heed to our requests like if we are inside the church, he should behave and if we are out, we ask him to kick me if he feels good or happy about our trip. I know that I have an intelligent child even this early.
According to the updates I received from babycenter, by this time baby Gwenks already looks like a miniature newborn. It further says that:
'At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers his body and the deep wrinkles on his skin, which he'll sport until he adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside his belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.'
