Before we left Manaoag, my aunt gave us few words to ponder. She told us that it was written in the Bible (didn't bother asking for the verse though) that children should be disciplined even if they are still inside the mother's womb. She told us that it is better that at this point, we should already guide baby Gwenks with her activities and actions.

I totally agree with her! Since I am left with the baby most of the time, I feel that I will be more of the disciplinarian parent rather than her tatay. At this point, tatay is tolerating more of her actions. There are times when I feel the pain of her kicking and boxing (instead of boxing gloves I wish she uses a baseball glove instead) I tell her that she's already hurting me but when G hears this, he'd just tell her to go on with it. During these times, I speak to her and inform her that it is good to make her movements but she should do it gentler. I know that when she grows a little bigger, her kicks will even be stronger that is why I am preparing for it already.

Back to disciplining the child, I think my baby will grow up to be a good person since we are always here to guide her. Aside from constant talking and communicating with her, we will make sure that she will grow up to be God-fearing and God-loving child. We will never go wrong because we know that Father God will guide us in every step of our parenting.
