plans for the long Christmas vacation

I wish we can go home to Isabela to celebrate it with my family. Christmas vacation is really long this year...It starts from December 25 until January 1. If I am to consider G's vacation, it starts on December 22 (since he filed his leave early) and it would end on January 1. As much as possible, they won't give him the chance to extend his vacation on January because they (Alabang branch) knew that he will be on Paternity Leave once I give birth. I think that will be another 2 weeks off from work for him.

For our plans, we'll just be staying home most of the time. We will celebrate our first Christmas alone, with no parents and in-laws to think of. It will just be US. We will surely attend the midnight mass and eat after. On Christmas day itself, we might visit MIL in Pacita and meet with G's siblings (if he wishes to and if they are also home by the time we get there). On one of the succeeding days, G will definitely find things to do here in the house. He might make some cabinets or whatever that he can think of. Then at night, we can go to Enchanted Kingdom (and definitely not in Westgate for now) to walk around only, since I won't be allowed on any of the rides anymore. We can watch the fireworks and head for home after that. On New Year's Eve, we may buy some fireworks to meet the New Year. Still, we will be alone in celebrating it. The next day, we will go to Pacita again. This time, G will stand as one of the ninongs of Yuwi.

Christmas vacation will go fast for sure. During that time, I'll take the chance of sleeping as much as I could. After Christmas, I'll be on my 36th week already. It means that anytime after that, it will already be safe for baby Gwenks to come out. I just hope she won't join the festivities at the hospital on New Year... or else, she'll have the same bday as my Tatang Lakay.
