pregnancy update

I am already on my 37th week and anytime now, I will already deliver baby Gwenks...

Here are some updates on how my last check-ups were.

Jan.2 - we went to visit my IM. the last recorded glucose count of 122 was a little high. She advised that I repeat the test before having dinner. In case the count would go higher than 100 mg/dL, I need to call her asap but if it is within 90-100, I will just have to inject 6 units of insulin instead of the usual 4 units. When I tested, I got 100 for the result. It was still within in the limit so I just had to add 2 more units to my usual shot.

I was also advised that I should just bring with me my insulin once I get admitted. I might need it anytime. She might not be needed anymore on the day itself. So far, she was wishing me that I have a normal delivery.

Jan. 3 - this was my first visit of the year with my OB. She IEd me and she found out that my cervix is still hard though she can already feel the head of the baby. She also gave me several requests for another NST and ultrasound to check on baby's status. She furthered requested that I already take my urinalysis.

Since I might give birth anytime now, she already made an admission letter for the hospital. I hope everything will go on well. My next schedule is tomorrow, Jan 6.

I have already packed our bags and we are ready to go anytime... but before I leave, I still have to make my search on Nooka watches. My sis has been requesting that I choose one for her.
