future plans
After giving birth, there are a lot of things that G and I are already thinking of. One of the things that we are considering is looking for an HMO that we could tap for baby Gwenks' medical needs. As you know, we already have a health card which is provided by G's company and we find it very useful especially in times of emergencies. If we can find a family health insurance that can provide for the needs of our family then we would likely invest in it.
A health card has been very handy for us. It offers unlimited number of consultations to different doctors. From this alone, it helps us save from P250 to P500 consultation fee per visit. Aside from this, it also offer laboratory procedures and annual over-all check ups. Though we got the lowest package, this still ensures us the maximum amount of P75,000 hospital bills per year.
We are now looking at several HMO like Maxicare and Medicard. If it is available through G's office, then we might just get it from them.
