will you be...
In less than a month, baby Gwenks will already be baptized. In this span of time, we haven't done anything yet... as in, there are still no suppliers booked (as if we needed much), no reservations made or even inquiries sent yet. Call me a slacker and I will agree with you. In fairness to G, he was already able to inquire from the church but that was it. He was just given the list of the things that he needs to accomplish. He has to get a permit from our church in Sta. Rosa indicating that they are allowing us to let our child be baptized in Balibago. He still has to make a follow-up on that matter.
In addition to the permit, parents and a set of godparents are also requested to attend a seminar which is provided by the church. If I am not mistaken, this is about the responsibilities of the parents in assisting their child in receiving the sacrament and for the godparents for their real roles as godparents.
Our problem goes in here... who are the godparents? We have already chosen and drafted some of the people whom we think will become good godparents for baby Gwenks. So far, I think we have at least 10 ninongs and 12 ninangs in our list but we hope to cut it down to a smaller number.
Aside from this, we also have to finalize the 'atbp' part of the baptism. These are the nice to have things that we wanted to have for that day. This includes the invites, tarps, souvenirs, etc. On the contrary, I don't have to worry about the patio furniture covers since a family friend will take care of it.
I'm kinda tense already but G says that he will work double-time tomorrow. He knows that I can't do these myself because no one will stay with baby Gwenks once I leave the house. If possible, I would really like to do it myself. I miss party planning
