Same time last year, I was already searching for great travel deals. We are set to go to a place where we have been dreaming of going since we got married. We wanted to go to Obando, Bulacan to attend the 'Kasilonawan Festival' or more commonly known as Obando Fertility Rites. I tried several sites, trying to find accomodation, but ended up with places near the town only. Because of this, we decided that we would have to leave the house early to catch the 8 am mass. What I got from the sites were directions on how to go to the church. There were comments that included the buses and jeeps that go to the church. I also asked instructions from my yahoogroup and everyone was helpful.

On May 17, we were able to go to Obando. If I remember it right, we took the bus from Pacita going to SM North Edsa; another bus from SM to Obando (can't remember the place?); then a jeep going to the church. We joined the 'parade' and danced our hearts out :p. It was so tiring but fulfilling. I remember G telling that this was the only event that he didn't feel out-of-place.

After a year, we will again go back to Obando. This time, we have a different intention. Not to pray for a child but to glorify God for answering our prayers. We would even testify that prayers work, you just have to wait for the right time.
