This is my first time to join MOMMY Moments and for my first entry, it is all about DADDY MOMENT...

The best daddy moment for G is when he first saw baby Gwenks. The last time he saw me was around 7:30 pm, inside the labor room. After 30 minutes of talking, he never heard anything from me already (as I forgot to bring my cp with me). He only corresponded with my OB from time to time. He and MIL were left in our room waiting for news. At about 4:00 am, OB texted him informing that I was already 9-10 cm and I am about to be brought to the delivery room. 5:00 am, OB texted him telling that he can come and see his baby He and MIL immediately went outside the delivery room. According to him, the first thing that was on his mind when he saw baby was 'this is my child, she came from me' When OB asked him if he would like to hold her, he declined. He was excited but was afraid as to how he would hold his child. So MIL carried the baby while he looked at her.

He was only able to hold baby Gwenks when she was brought to our room. He was even ' a little' afraid when I handed her to him. He said that 'it was like holding a precious egg on his hand'.

This is his first picture with her... Gwen carrying his precious Gwen...
