first ride

Several days from now we will celebrate baby Gwenks' 7th month but I haven't posted anything about her 6th month celebration yet. The reason behind is that there was no celebration that time. There was no cake, no pasta, no ice cream. We just went to SM and ate at KFC. If I remember it right, this was the day that the transport group had their protest on the streets. There were no rides available for the commuters. As a matter of fact, tatay went back because there were no jeepneys going to Mamplasan. The worst part was, he had to walk some 5 kilometers going back to the house. So my plan for the day didn't push through. We were only able to go out at around 7 pm so we headed to SM for it.

When we got there it was already quarter to 8. We still have to pay for our bills. While I was paying, father and daughter were at the arcade area. Little Gwenks seems interested with the rides so her tatay let her ride on one. They waited for me until I finished with my errands before tatay dropped a token. At first she was a little apprehensive but later on she was already excited. When her time was up, she still insisted on sitting on her ride. She won't let go. When we finally let her release the handle, we immediately went to the nearest shop. We saw several plasma mounts that interests her. She was staring at it as if she's interested in purchasing one (as if we could :p).

Before 9 pm, we were already at KFC. It was the first fast food that we saw when we got down the escalator. We ordered food and ate. When we dropped by Red Ribbon, there were no more cakes available so we forego the cake part.

Hopefully on her 7th month, it would be a better celebration. We also hope to bring her to the studio for some photo opps. We wanted to compile pictures that we could use on her invitation for her first birthday... again, this would depend on tatay's availability this weekend
