reminiscing
Looking at my little girl sleeping right now, I can't help but remember the first time I saw her. She was so small then (though a lot bigger than other newly-borns) and so fragile. She is an answered prayer from up above. The first thing that came to my mind was, 'Finally, here she is. The pain and the wait was so worth it.
Before I was admitted, I was already looking for birth announcements that I could use once I give birth. I tried online and even searched for local suppliers. In the end, I wasn't able to distribute it. I was too engaged with taking care of baby and too tired to do other chores. it was not that easy adjusting so I had to take things slowly and everything else had to take the back seat. The same thing happened with the baptism invitations. Due to the lack of time, we just emailed the invites to most of our guests. Now that her first birthday is approaching, I will really make sure that I only make a number of invites since I might just email it again to guests. See, in 5 months she'll turn 1 already... how time really flies...
