party planning starts
I am excited! It may be late but we have finally started to prepare for baby Gwenks' first birthday celebration. Today, we were able to drop by Jolibee to inquire about their packages. Yup, we have decided to just go for the fastfood. It would be lesser chores for us (for me actually) and lesser hassles as well. The only thing is, we have limited time to celebrate.
So far, we have made a sample computation on what we would expect on the day. I haven't finalized the menu yet as I haven't really checked on how many are coming. I have to remember that I have a limited budget as well. I am now thinking if I would bring my own lootbags or I'll avail everything from them. I wanted to personalize, to the point of chosing everything that needs to be placed inside plus personalized according to who will receive the bag. I am not planning to give away White Owl cigars as if children would appreciate it.
Nways, I still have to make the invitations (these would be in additionto the ones coming from Jolibee), plus the tarpaulin and the standee... something I really want. For the decors, we'll just add up little to it... especially for the cake table. I am also thinking of hiring a photographer for the event, as long as it is within the budget.
In the end, even if it would be a fastfood celebration, I would still want to make it better. Something little Gwenks will appreciate when she grows a little bigger.
