Last week, just before the Holy Week, we got the chance to meet with my high school friend Fatima and her family. It has been ages since we last the chance to talk with each other and now that they are home, we made up for the lost time.

We were to meet at Max's Pacita at 11 am but since we had to commute, we were late. Lycah, her daughter was already bored and wanted to go home. While Monard, was not feeling well so they took off once we got there. It was really fun seeing her and her family. We talked about almost anything... from family life, raising children, work abroad and a lot more. I am not really sure if I asked her on how to learn more about weight loss pills since she is still as slim as she was when we were in high school since I aim to be slim again even a month after giving birth.

The best part of the meet-up was when she gave our pasalubongs As expected, it was more for the girls... especially for Annie. Fatima is going to be one of Annie's godmother soon. Since they will go home on the 16th again, I am not sure if they would still get a glimpse of the little one I give birth. Ninang Fatima brought Annie her Avent Newborn Starter set and her christening dress plus shoes. She also gave ate Gwen-Gwen a new dress and a Victory Secret spray for me :p

If it was not only too humid that day... and I am not with the 'Gwens', I would have accepted her offer for a round of coffee and more chika... howell, I hope to see her again soon. When the girls are a little bigger so I could spend more time chitchating.
